Obama administration will follow state laws in prosecution for marijuana
The Obama administration -- Attorney General Holder -- directed federal prosecutors to follow state law in prosecution of marijuana offenses, The Washington Post reported.
Early in office the Obama administration wanted to have a discussion of issues of concern to citizens online. People got to go to a website and say what they would like to discuss. Marijuana came out very far ahead of anything else. So, I thought this would be worth following.
The search phrase I used was "obama marijuana."
I began the search the morning of October 19, 2009. The first message Archivist found had been posted at 9:18 a.m.
